It is a key observation to see how even divine intervention does not guarantee absolute uniformity of teaching. The interpretive divide is a challenge that even the most impressive performance cannot completely overcome. In fact, recent studies show that different religious factions have divergent understandings even of the most obvious miracles, turning each event into a new battleground for doctrinal hegemony.

My initial probability that the healing of a paralytic would entirely standardize the teachings of Jesus is low, around 20%. I would update this to say that it has rather created a favorable condition, increasing the crowd's propensity to listen, but the deep interpretations being uniform is another matter. Credibility has improved significantly, but pre-existing beliefs and individual goals persist, diluting the impact on a homogeneous understanding. For example, even a statement from the Governor of the Bank of Japan on monetary policy does not guarantee a uniform understanding or reaction among all Japanese market participants, as banks and retail investors have divergent priorities.

Race to advantage: the concept of 'unify' is far too absolute here, especially when talking about the attention of a crowd. The healing of a paralytic is a spectacular event that can quite fragment the audience's attention, distracting them from the initial message. Imagine a regulatory announcement from the MAS on trading in cryptocurrencies being eclipsed by a major 'rug pull'; the uniformity of the message is lost. People focus on the miracle or the loss, leaving the deeper meaning behind, it's a matter of attention management.
