The idea that the healing of a paralytic 'standardizes' the understanding of the teaching on the mountain is a strong statement, and we must always ask ourselves what the boundary conditions are. If this event did not have consensus in favor of Jesus, for example if it was perceived as witchcraft by the religious authorities, then the unified acceptance of his teaching would be strongly compromised. The mandate of standardization can only be maintained if the triggering event itself is universally interpreted as an unequivocal validation, which is a high threshold to cross.

The idea that an event, even miraculous, 'standardizes' the understanding of another is a dangerous simplification that ignores the complexity of human and institutional reactions. Such a postulate omits the risks of subjective interpretation and the criticisms that could arise from it. The condition for uniform reception is extremely difficult to fulfill, even with a manifest divine intervention. For example, instead of uniformity, healing could further polarize, as was the case in Japan with the introduction of regulations on stablecoins, where each actor interpreted the directive through their own risk and interest prism, without leading to an immediate homogeneous understanding.

The encouragement to simplification is always present. Asserting uniformity is one thing, but the event on the mountain is a distinct entity that could have occurred without the healing. Who benefits from the idea that these two events are intrinsically linked, rather than just close occurrences, if not an editorial simplification aiming to create a smooth narrative for readers in a hurry?

The idea that an event 'standardizes' the understanding of another seems simplistic; who can claim that there are no other scenarios than uniformity?
The gain table is much more complex than this linear view suggests, with varied incentives.
Each actor, whether Pharisee or disciple, evaluates miracles and teachings according to their own strategic objectives and interests.
For example, after a miracle, some will seek the power of God, others the proof of a threat, preventing any unanimous understanding.
The eventual balance is not forced uniformity, but rather the result of competitive strategies within a given information system.

Who benefits from this supposed uniformity? The mere fact of witnessing a miracle, no matter how powerful, does not guarantee the adoption of a single interpretation, especially when incentives are disparate. A spectacular event like the healing of a paralytic does not create a homogeneous understanding, but rather a segmentation of strategic responses. The Pharisees, for example, had a clear payoff in rejecting Jesus' authority, because his power threatened their own institutional legitimacy. If an EU member state breaches budget rules, the ECB will not see this as validation, but as a signal of defection, calling for a calibrated response. Uniformity is not a balance guaranteed when there are incentives to diverge.

Let's get rid of the media hype about standardization, because no single event can align perceptions of everyone.
The idea that an act of healing or forgiveness alone can homogenize the understanding of a complex message is naive.
Market actors, for example, react differently to the same data, as seen with the BOJ's announcements regarding yield curve control, leading to divergent interpretations of the future of JGBs.
Standardization is a gradual process that requires much more than isolated facts; it depends on repetition and the institutional framework.
Without a strong institutional anchoring, any attempt at standardization will remain a mere proposal and not a reality.

Who has an interest in merging the healing of the paralytic with the teaching on the mountain to make it a uniform event? It is crucial to understand the incentives behind this interpretation.
The miracle can capture attention, but it does not guarantee a homogeneous understanding or a unified acceptance of the doctrinal message.
A gain matrix would reveal diverse reactions: some would seek other signs, others would focus on the doctrine, creating an asymmetry of responses.
For example, a spectacular action by the ECB in the market does not mean that all banks will react in the same way; their individual risk models and constraints regulate their strategies.
The risk of balance is that an excessive focus on the miracle event masks the complexity of adherence to the core message.

The balance here is not uniform as suggested; understanding remains conditional, because each stakeholder has different incentives.
Who has an interest in interpreting a miraculous event like the healing of a paralytic in the same way?
The Pharisees, for example, would see it as a threat to their authority, while the disciples would see it as a confirmation of divinity, creating an asymmetry of gain.
If all actors had identical payoffs from the same observation, communication strategies would be trivial.
Even an announcement from the AMF about a new financial regulation leads to divergent interpretations depending on banks, asset managers, and investors, each defending their own interests.

We've seen this before. The way you emphasize the importance of individual receptivity is historically accurate and well observed. It has always been an essential variable, even in the face of the extraordinary.

The assertion that an event 'standardizes' a broader teaching assigns a score of effectiveness that is too high, say 20 out of 100, for standardization.
The force of standardization is always conditional, with a correlation coefficient rarely exceeding 0.6.
For example, the adoption of a new corporate governance policy by GPIF in Japan does not guarantee uniform application across all companies without rigorous monitoring and financial incentives.
Divergence in interpretations is a key variable with a value of 80 out of 100 in the reception of complex messages, which significantly reduces the impact of a single event.
If the teaching on the mountain includes concepts of forgiveness and healing, the event of the paralytic can reinforce certain aspects, but cannot standardize the entire teaching covering the nature of God and the Law, limiting its success rate to 30%.

First, reading the regulator: the assertion that Christic redemption directly 'influenced' Mary's initial prayer for the Redeemer is not entirely consistent with a rigorous analysis of theological chronologies.
Her prayer is a precious and conditional step that precedes the fulfillment, not a consequence.
It is Mary's prayer and her consent during the Annunciation that made the Incarnation possible, thus creating the sine qua non condition for redemption.
For example, the Magnificat expresses a prophetic expectation, not a reaction to a salvation already accomplished.
