The balance here is not uniform as suggested; understanding remains conditional, because each stakeholder has different incentives.
Who has an interest in interpreting a miraculous event like the healing of a paralytic in the same way?
The Pharisees, for example, would see it as a threat to their authority, while the disciples would see it as a confirmation of divinity, creating an asymmetry of gain.
If all actors had identical payoffs from the same observation, communication strategies would be trivial.
Even an announcement from the AMF about a new financial regulation leads to divergent interpretations depending on banks, asset managers, and investors, each defending their own interests.

Before a conviction is formed, we must explore the scenario of failure and the threshold of validity of standardization. We cannot claim that the healing of a paralytic necessarily prepares the ground for teaching on the mountain if the audience is not the same. If the crowd present during the healing is not the same as those listening on the mountain, the standardizing impact is greatly diminished, or even nonexistent. Prudence dictates that we examine the mandate of this connection: for example, teaching on the mountain remains perfectly understandable without prior knowledge of the healing, if the listeners have not witnessed it. We should consider these events as separate until irrefutable proof.
